Affordable service for your home or business

A computer is not a fridge, unfortunately is does not "just work", a computer is one of the most complex machines ever invented by man, and requires just as much looking after as your car. But it does not have to cost as much as car service!

A computer that has an initial correct setup, including virus scanner, spyware removal/guard, firewall (preferably a hardware based firewall) will extend the life of your computer just as much as regularly checking the oil, air pressure and gauges on your car.

Depending on the environment your computer is in, be it residential with family members regular using it, or a business machine used only by one person, your computers service needs will vary. MikeIT can provide a range of service plans to keep your computer running, and prevent annoying crashes and the loss of productivity or enjoyment which can accompany a misconfigured or unprotected computer.

MikeIT can provide onsite service, repair and installation. Standard Residential Callout Fee is $85 per hour. Commercial consulting rates are $125 per hour. Phone support is charged at $15 per resolution, or 15 resolutions for $150, with a 12 month expiry.

We also offer annual support service plans. Refer to the table below for the plan that suits you.

Please note that commercial clients on a support plan received a discounted hourly rate, for any callouts outside of the included hours on their plan, of $85.00 inc GST.

Terms and Conditions

  1. All support is 6 X 12 (Sunday is excluded), and does not include public holidays. All clients on a support plan receive access to a dedicated support contact number.
  2. A callout is defined as an onsite appointment to the clients premises, as long as the client premises is within 30km of Melbourne GPO, unless by prior arrangement at MikeIT's discretion.
  3. An onsite visit will be limited to 90 minutes unless by prior arrangement and at the discretion of MikeIT.
  4. Support provided will be limited to computers, workstations, network equipment (Modems, Switches, Wireless AP's) and will exclude any electrical work, data cabling, or Server Maintenance unless organised by prior negotiation at the discretion of MikeIT.
  5. MikeIT reserves the right to refund pro rata any customers support plan and discontinue service to the customer at MikeIT's discretion.
